2 Place the kettle on its base and put the plug in the wall socket.
3 Push the on/off switch downwar ds to switch on the appliance (Fig. 5).

Regular descaling prolongs the life of the kettle.
In case of normal use (up to 5 times a day),
we recommend the following descaling
- Once ever y 3 months for soft water areas (up to 18dH).
- Once ever y month for hard water areas (more than 18dH).
1 Fill the kettle with a ppro x. 900ml water .
2 Switch on the kettle.
3 After the kettle s witches off, add white vinegar (8% acetic acid) to the MAX
4 Lea ve the solution in the k ettle overnight.
5 Empty the kettle and rinse the inside thor oughly .
6 Fill the kettle with fr esh water and boil the water .
7 Empty the kettle and rinse it with fr esh water again.
Repeat the procedure if there is still some scale in the kettle.
Y ou can also use an appropriate descaler. In that case , follow the instructions on the
package of the descaler
